BIKE MURAL

The Bicycle Lending Library at West Chester University provides students and faculty with access to rentable bicycles as part of a sustainable transportation initiative. To increase visibility and engagement, a mural was commissioned for the space. Competing against three other teams, The Design Divas, Liam Cromwell, Kevin Reece, and Rebecca Stratton, were selected by the BLL committee to have their design installed on the exterior of the Francis Harvey Green Library. The final mural is vibrant, bold, and inviting, clearly communicating the purpose of the Bicycle Lending Library. It incorporates recognizable WCU symbols and colors, while subtly referencing sustainability through bicycle wheel spokes radiating like sun rays.
